Media Relations

Each media strategy is customized to achieve your brand’s goals, whether you’re raising a round, want to be recognized as an industry innovator, have a leadership story to tell, or are narrowly focused on customer acquisition and product placement (or all of the above). Farrell regularly works with reporters at top-tier business, technology, retail industry, fashion and consumer/general interest media outlets. Contributed content or OpEds will also be considered as part of a media program, and Farrell’s team will support in writing/placing these.


Messaging & Positioning

My job is to articulate your company Kool-Aid to external parties, including media, consumers, investors and industry peers. First matter of business is to make sure the critical storytelling elements — key message points, differentiators, compelling business metrics and creative — are in place so your brand will stand out from the industry noise. Brand messaging is the foundation of a successful communications platform.


Strategic Partnerships

Partnerships can accelerate your brand’s growth, and can also help bring to life what you stand for. If lead-gen is a business priority, we can find complementary brands to work with on an email sweeps or social promotion, or align with like-minded brands for a brand awareness campaign. If you are focused on social impact, for example diversity or sustainability, we can partner with organizations driving change in these areas.


Events + Speaking

It's important for executives to have a presence on stage at key industry shows to be recognized as a thought leader, meet other innovators in the space and forge partner relationships. In addition to securing executive speaking engagements, we will explore developing and executing product launch and brand campaign events with national reach as well as local influencer events.
